FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost?
After a free introductory phone call in which we discuss if coaching sounds right for you, you sign up for three initial sessions – an hour each – £285 for the three sessions.
If you feel you are making useful progress, we will continue with a further three sessions.
What kind of people do you work with?
Anyone who feels like they really want to make a change in their lives. I have worked with teachers experiencing stress and burnout, with people in the tech industry who want to make a creative change in their careers, and with people going through a life transition (a new baby, a bereavement). What they all have in common is the desire to think about how to make meaningful change in their lives and to create a plan for making that change happen.
How long does it last?
The sessions take place in intervals that suit you. Some clients come once every two or three weeks at first and then every few weeks thereafter. It’s not like therapy or counselling where you have an indefinite number of sessions: you come with a challenge or goal, we think through how to make the change you want, and you finish when you are no longer stuck but are on a path of new understanding and change. The process is focussed on making change happen in a visible period of time. Of course, some clients return with a different challenge or problem, and I am happy to work with them on new issues.
What kind of training have you had?
I trained with Animas, on their Diploma in Transformative Coaching course, accredited by the Association for Coaching, the International Coach Federation and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.

We can talk about what you’re stuck with – perhaps you already have an idea of where you want to be, but you don’t know how to get there, or maybe you don’t (and that’s ok). We can talk more about how coaching works and you can ask all the questions you want. And then you can decide if coaching with me is for you.
I look forward to hearing from you!
